July giveaway!

Since I’ve been back in the States, I’ve been on the hunt for a decent daily face cream.  I’ve tried a few in the past – mostly cheaper ones you can get at Target and Wal-Mart, but they didn’t seem to help my dry face at all.  I looked at Macy’s but just couldn’t justify paying $80+ for 2 oz of face cream, even if it did work wonders (which I don’t know if they did because I didn’t buy any).

And then I discovered L’Oreal’s Youth Code.  I wanted something with SPF in it, and I wanted it to smell decent, but not be completely overpowering.  And I wanted it to work on the dry skin I have on my face.  This lotion fits all my criteria and then some.  I seriously love it!

May giveaway

I’m behind on my giveaways.  Life seems to be going by very quickly and time just gets away from me, which is a very good thing!  The next 5 months could be over in the blink of an eye and I would be happy!  (Because my husband would be coming home very soon!)

This month I’ve decided to give away a few of my favorite things.

I love doing Sudoku puzzles and having my fingernails painted is a small luxury for me.  I love Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure line, and I have both of these colors for myself.  (I’ve gotten lots of compliments on the grey-ish colored one.)

When I relax, I do Sudoku puzzles and paint my nails, so I thought I’d give them away to someone else to help you relax too!

I picked up this necklace while I was in Barcelona for one of my readers to win.  Do you have any idea how hard it is to pick something out when you don’t know who you’re giving it to?  Let me tell you, it’s hard.  But I got a similar one, so I figured I’d get something that I would wear and hope that some of you like it too.

My 1st giveaway!

 

I’ve been debating doing a giveaway on my blog for a while now.  I’m pretty excited about having almost 60 followers, and I wanted to do something to celebrate!  So I figured I’d send someone a small piece of Italy.

Since I can’t ship off the good weather, mountains or amazing scenery, I thought hot chocolate, Nutella and a scarf would be the next best thing.  I know they sell Nutella in the States, but I hadn’t seen these little to-go things and they’re REALLY good!  One of Abbie’s and my favorites!  The hot chocolate is more like hot pudding, and it’s SOO good!  And everyone over here wears scarfs so I figured I’d add a scarf made in Italy to the package also.
