Calico Ghost Town

Way back in July (I think) we visited Calico Ghost Town in Calico, CA.  It was a fun little day trip from base, but it was sprinkling so the train wasn’t running.  Big bummer for Benji Boy.

This house was pretty trippy.  It was built at an angle, so we were all standing straight up, but it made it look like we were leaning.  It made me pretty dizzy actually, which is why Mark is carrying the baby…

It was a cute historical site to visit and they had little shops you could go in.  The kids did a craft in one of them.

And we also panned for (fool’s) gold.  The kids loved that!
