Stay strong!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6841515977640057681.post-4984850461460973922011-04-07T04:47:25.145-07:002011-04-07T04:47:25.145-07:00I'm sitting here in tears just thinking about ...I'm sitting here in tears just thinking about how strong you guys are. Six months is a long time—but you already know that. I love your blog because you tell it like it is and you haven't sugar-coated things (from what I can tell), so I'm anxious to see how this deployment will be on you and your daughter. We've been through two deployment, but they were for much shorter lengths. When we go to Italy, though, it'll be for six months. Hang in there!Jessica Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17283561653744769352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6841515977640057681.post-22579273799243587432011-04-07T00:10:33.363-07:002011-04-07T00:10:33.363-07:00I am sitting here crying for you. And both times I had to tell mine goodbye (in Italy), it was raining. That just made it that much easier for me to sit there and cry and cry and cry. ((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))

It helps to plan to do things while he's gone so that you have shorter-term things to look forward to and take your focus off of the deployment. I took my two boys to Tuscany on a trip with the other squadron spouses, and it was a wonderful time and a great break up of the time he was gone.

I hope the time flies for you both and he's home before you know it!Fledgling Techiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16835217216412938488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6841515977640057681.post-90923794765493868962011-04-06T23:50:30.052-07:002011-04-06T23:50:30.052-07:00I'm sorry he had to leave. I completely understand every mixed emotion you wrote about, and how heartbreaking it is to know the little ones have to experience the absence too.

You made it through today though. And the first few days are hard because you are finding your routine. I hope all these next days seem to fly by until he can come home.

HUGS!Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15077190277243740343noreply@blogger.com
